Moderate 7.0 mile linear walk along the canal towpath from Marsden to Huddersfield. Park at NT car park near railways station, walk along towpath via Slawit ending at Kirklees Tech College.
025 Upper Denby round
Moderate 6.5 mile circular walk from \Lower Denby along Kirklees way, then through Deffer Wood taking in Gunthwaite Hall tythe barn
027 Holmbridge Harden Hill round
Moderate 7.1 mile circular walk from Holmbridge, Bottoms Mill, Burnlee, Liphill Bank, skirt Harden Hill, Digley reservoir, Austonley and back to Holmbridge.
