Walk Description:  For collectors of trig point climbs, this walk offers two  – Dead Edge End and (with a short diversion) Snailsden Pike. It also takes in the source of the River Don at the watershed with the River Etherow. The turn off the path above the Woodhead tunnels near a small pillar is not obvious; sharp eyes and good light conditions are needed. The path improves but can be boggy between Wike Head and Great Grains Clough.
