Public Transport: From Holmfirth, Bus 352 to Uppermill on Saturdays and Bus 357 to Greenfield on Tuesdays, stops at Huntsman pub – Journey time 10 minutes.  Otherwise long connecting walks.
Walk Description: From Huntsman Pub car park, turn right along A635 Greenfield Road for 300m then turn left along Harden Moss Road up to Acres Lane, then turn right along Knowl Road track. Turn left in front of Upper Knowl Farm and follow track down to Shay Lane. Turn right and follow lane parallel to Digley Reservoir past Greaves Head,  along Nether Lane past Goodbent Lodge. On reaching Springs Road, turn right up this road passing the disused Bradshaw quarry on the left. Follow Springs Road back up onto the A635 Greenfield Road. Turn right for 100m, then turrn left down Magdalen Road. Enjoy the views over Royds Edge Clough down into Meltham. Follow the Magdalen Road track all the way down, passed the Harden Moss Sheep trials (1) field on the right. Bear right towards Royd Farm, taking the left hand track infront of the farm buildings. Walk along this track northwards, following the path through the fields to the junction of Hebble Lane with Royd Road. Turn right back along Royd Road passed Lower Royd and along the Harden Moss Road. This track passes Harden Moss farm on the right and reaches the A635 Greenfield Road. Turn left here and walk back to the end of the walk at the Huntsman pub.
