Public Transport: Bus 335 from Holmfirth to Slaithwaite Carr Lane then change to Bus 935 to Marsden. Journey time circa 1 hr 10 min. Alternative with similar journey times Bus 310 Holmfirth to Huddersfield then Transpennine train to Marsden. 
Walk Description: From New Inn at Marsden, across road and through park to pick up path opposite to Scout. Left on track past Piper Stones and up to join Deer Hill Conduit. Left to Deer Hill reservoir then path across Lingards Moor to catchwater to Deer Hill End Road. Left on track past Wills O’Nats and across Black Moor. Across two roads, down field paths towards Slawit (or Slaithwaite) and join Colne Valley Circular Walk back to Marsden.
